Our vision is to live in a world where all animals in Zimbabwe and across all of Africa are viewed as living beings with their own interests, free from suffering.
We strive to accomplish this through education, investigation, advocacy, legislation, and litigation.
Minimize animal cruelty throughout Zimbabwe and across Africa.
In Zimbabwe, we engage in community wildlife talks, where we journey to villages and connect with the faithful stewards of wildlife, the rural communities. Our mission is to educate them about the critical aspects of wildlife conservation and the legal framework for safeguarding animals in Zimbabwe. We emphasize the consequences of breaking these laws. By highlighting the penalties, we encourage compliance and discourage wildlife crime. We underscore the intrinsic value of wildlife. By appreciating their significance, communities are more likely to participate actively in conservation efforts. We equip them with practical knowledge on conserving wildlife within their local areas. This includes sustainable practices and coexistence strategies. Through these talks, we foster a sense of ownership and responsibility, ensuring that the rural communities become active partners in preserving Zimbabwe’s precious wildlife.
Through advocacy campaigns, raising awareness about critical issues such as food waste, hunger, and equitable access to nutritious food. By influencing public opinion, encourage individuals to rethink their choices. Organizing workshops, seminars, and community events to educate people about food-related topics. These efforts foster informed decision-making and encourage mindful consumption. Collaborate with schools, universities, and community centers to teach children and adults about healthy eating, sustainable agriculture, and food justice.
Organizing animal law workshops equips judges, magistrates, prosecutors, law enforcement officers, advocates, and prison officers with the knowledge necessary to combat wildlife and other crimes against animals. These workshops serve as the heart of a functional criminal justice system, ensuring that those involved are well-informed and effective.
